TV crew in Cumnock and Quambone 27/09/2011
Channel 7 "Today Tonight" flew to Dubbo central NSW last week to film Rentafarmhouse's 3 year result in Cumnock one day and then to Coonamble and Quambone the next day to launch the $1 a week farmhouse scheme. The TV segment attracted many enquiries and applications to the regional towns seeking to strengthen their communities. Watch the 4 min 45 sec "One dollar boom towns" show at http://au.news.yahoo.com/today-tonight/video/ and then go to Coonamble and Quambone's website to apply at www.rentafarmhouse.yolasite.com or email rentafarmhouse@hotmail.com.au Commentsjody 28/09/2011 00:51
I just wanted to say that anyone interested in the Rent a Farmhouse make sure u have a trade or otherwise u will be wasting your time and money. My family has applied for a house since the start and have been rejected each time because my husband didnt have a trade even though he was willing to do farm work and do IT work and I was an aged care nurse. I also find it disappointing they are more focused on the work side of this process and not wanting to keep the population growth up. So we have decided to save and buy our own tree change then we dont need to feel rejected and unworthy.
